| A stunning and sophisticated classic trance-dance ambient release that draws upon a diversity of cultural influences that were made popular by, as well as direct samples from, such artists as Enigma, Deep Forest, Dead Can Dance and Peter Gabriel. Ambient and rhythmic auditory sculptures are meticulously crafted and sonically realized through a whirling mesh of hypnotic dance beats, ethnic and organic rhythms and treatments, Gregorian and Tibetan chants, pulsing sequencer loops, and sensual and haunting female vocal contributions (by Sarah McLaughlin and Lisa Gerrard among others) all tied together into a seamless and inspirational psychoauditory trance motif. |
